Hurricane Florence and Michael
Pastor Larry
Gilaspy, a long-time friend of ORH, sent information about Galilean Baptist
Church in Panama City, FL. Pastor Alan
Jenkins of Nehemiah’s Network visited the church and sent the following report
with the pictures in the attached PDF.
“I visited Bro. Steve Carter this
morning and what a dear man of God He is. But he is hurting and needs our help.
He is still waiting for the insurance adjuster…. The church has hurricane insurance; but the
majority of the members are older, and he will need some help with cleanup. The
damage at his church is very extensive. My heart was moved heavily for this dear
Pastor.”
Please,
continue to pray for the families, pastors, and churches in the Florence and
Michael impact areas. These two storms,
though opposite in nature, have created an impossible task for all working in
their aftermath. As a result of the
storms, ORH is receiving new requests for help regularly.
