They have asked our help in reaching the area with the truth.

Our goal will be to help the people in their villages with medical care and to conduct evangelism and new church building missions.  The medical care will consist of general medical, pediatrics, dental and optometry.  We will work for four clinic days.

This clinic will be follow up to all the work that ORH did for Typhoon Yolanda.  Dan and Edna worked for months on Panay helping the churches and villages there.  As a thank you for their very meticulous and gracious work, ORH seeks to do a clinic for their church which sacrificed so much for Panay.

Nepal Update - Pastor Athem Team

Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Dear Friends,

Pastor Athem and his faithful group of Indian believers are still very involved in the work of the Lord in Nepal.  This is his latest report from the work there.  Please read it and pray for his team and the people to whom they will minister.

“Dear uncle Jan,  I am in Kathmandu since 5 days. We reached as many as 340 houses with CGI roofing iron sheets of 250 bundles, 340 bags rice of 35 kgs each, 1 cooking pot each and 1 frying pan each were given to 340 households. Three churches of iron bars and CGI roofing sheets have been ordered, this will be done in three weeks from now. I hope to receive the funds asap so that the cost will be paid soon. Thank you also for the support. Yesterday we went to 240 km and preached the Gospel both in the morning and evening.  In His Service, Athem”

ORH thanks all who have participated in the Nepal work.  Continue to pray; this is a great open door to a very great nation of people.  We must continue our efforts to Nepal with the gospel.

God bless,
Jan Milton

VMA India Leper Medical Clinic

Tuesday, June 15, 2015

Dear Friends,

As you know, Dr. John Paul Moses has accepted the mission as a “Village Medical Assistant” with Operation Renewed Hope.  He conducts medical clinics in India to give the Gospel.  He is supported in the efforts by his family members who do the spiritual work with those in the clinic.  Please read his latest communication.

“Dear Uncle Jan and Jim,   I hope all is well with you both... As I had mentioned, we were able to visit the leper colony where we have been ministering...! The people here have been affected due to the heat wave which swept our country a few days ago and help them with some medical supplies... Please follow the attached pictures in my following emails.. As per our notice in the colony around three people had just died. In the supplies which we distributed for over a hundred adults and several children, contained wound dressing and bandage supplies, oral rehydration sachets- WHO formulation, pain and fever medicine, multi-vitamins and minerals and other relevant medications pertaining to their health conditions... Would you believe it if I said that It was amazing to notice how God sent rain right after two days of this camp, It is a relief for sure, beyond comprehension, especially for these destitute s'..
These people's livelihood solely depends upon begging, impossible to find jobs, the heat had affected them lots.  When we arrived we faced the brunt of the adverse weather too... My mother Jasmine and Brother Titus who has been studying in the bible college along with two other believers and the local Pastor were able to minister to them with the Gospel.
This is our second camp here and we wish to stabilise this area with the medical ministry and the Gospel further providing with discipleship, I am thankful to vision 2020, and ORH for being a part of this medical ministry.. Uncle Jim, We need to supply them with truth and freedom bible education, especially to the youth, and nurture them in these very days, because there are several who are interested to know more and be involved in the evangelism in the days to come there by potential labourers for Christ...We will be going again, depending upon the resources...This is something and I know that God is working....There is so much to do and please continue to pray for us and my family...Love and regards,  Yours faithfully in Christ, JP”

Please pray that the funds will always be available to keep this young man going with the work of the medical clinics in the villages of India.  ORH will be sending Dr. John Paul $250 for supplies, $100 for transportation costs, $50 for evangelist cost, and $100 personal support for Dr. John Paul.

Please pray for the team’s safety.  The travel conditions are very difficult at times.  The people whom they impact can be volatile about the teachings of Christ.  Dr. John Paul and his family have faced unbelievable persecution at times.

Thank you for helping us to spread the Word of God by the medical clinics ORH conducts or sponsors.

Please download the PDF to see the clinic in pictures.

God bless,

Jan Milton

Nepal Update - James and Holly Tamang

Nepal Update – James and Holly Tamang Report

Monday June 15, 2015

Dear Friends,

ORH just finished a major boot camp for teens on their way to Peru for a medical team.  It was great!  God opened all our hearts to His will, and the Spirit of God was powerful through the Word.  The teens were active in training from 6 am each morning until 10 pm each night.  There was Bible, medical, cultural, and survival training each day.  It was very exhausting, especially the physical training; but what a blessing.  Thanks to Kings Mills Baptist Church for this great opportunity to take their teens and adults on a great mission to Peru in July.

Although this was wonderful, ORH is behind with updates from Nepal.  Please read this update from James Tamang about his continuing efforts.  Shortly, we will be getting out other updates from our good friends.

“Brother Milton,  Hope and pray all is with you and your ministries.  I just want to give you a quick update of what we have been doing in regarding Shelter for Earthquake Relief.   As of yesterday Jun 9th we were able to place 8 tin roof shelter for private Christian academy and one for a needy tailor in his village.  Their rented facilities were all demolished by an Earthquake which caused them to move out and rent an empty lot to teach with tents over their head.  Now they have at least tin roof shelter to teach under.  Thank you very much.  As we continue to minister I will be updating you as much as possible.  Thank you for your continual prayer and faithfulness during the time of our needs here in Nepal.   Through Christ alone,  James Tamang”

Pray for James and Holly.  They are doing a great job.’

Thanks so much to Pleasant Grove Bible Church for their gracious gift.   There are many who have donated privately and ORH says thank you for such an out-pouring of grace.  With these partners, Operation Renewed Hope is able to benefit families who are receiving shelter from the weather conditions because of missionaries like James and Holly.

God bless,

Jan Milton
