UKRAINE AND NORTH CAROLINA FLORENCE

Tuesday, September 25, 2018

Dear Friends,

Ukraine

Lori and Oleg Enskyy wrote about a young girl who was diagnosed with a serious condition at our July 2018 medical clinic.  ORH sent the money to pay for her visit to doctors in Kyiv.  Please download the PDF to see her beautiful smiling face.

“Jan, thank you so much for helping our people.  I have attached a picture of Sofia, when they were in Kyiv for her tests.  The week went very well, and we now have a diagnosis that can be dealt with here in Mukachevo.  Thank you for helping Sofia and her family.  The picture is of her for the first time at McDonalds in Kyiv.  She still talks about it!”

God continues to save people from the July 2018 medical clinic.  We received this message from Sherry Goodson about a young lady being saved.  This communication came from Lori and Oleg.

“Also, we received this wonderful news from Lori. ‘I know you will rejoice with us in Gods greatness of another soul rescued!  New believers to grow in the faith and withstand temptation.  (ORH removed the name), translator from ORH, to grow spiritually and be baptized. She has repented privately and wants to do so publicly before she leaves for work in another country.’”

We have much more work in the Ukraine including a special clinic for Special Needs Children.  You must love the little ones; Jesus wants them sent to him.

Hurricane Florence

People are helping others.  This is a great time to give the Gospel of Christ.

Sherry Goodson; Friendship Baptist Church, Raleigh, NC; wrote us about gathering supplies.  She sent us a picture of her effort.  Thank God for such good people.

“This is what I received from my tennis girlfriends within 48 hours of sending out an email request....trunk load of supplies, plus a $100 check for ORH to send to Florence victims. What a blessing.”

Download the attachment to see Sherry’s auto load.  Pastor Gary Ledbetter sent us the following communication.

Jan, The 30” of rain took a real toll on the Columbus County area here in North Carolina.  Many in the town of Whiteville suffered some type of damage.  The downtown area flooded with up to 52” of water inside some businesses.
The need is for non-perishable food items (such as peanut butter, spaghetti O’s, beef stew.etc), cleaning supplies, hygiene items, diapers, baby wipes, paper products, and baby formula.
Gift cards to Lowes or Home Depot would be helpful….
Thanks so much for standing with us at this time.  May the Lord continue to bless you and the Operation Renewed Hope ministry.  Pastor Gary Ledbetter

ORH has made a connection for Pastor Ledbetter with a great ministry out of Trinity Baptist Church, Ashville, NC, Hearts with Hands.  ORH has worked with them over 20 years.  Thank you to all who make helping others a blessed time.
