Tuesday, January 14, 2020 Dear Friends, Tabernacle Baptist Church – Freeport Bahamas In the early days of Dorian, ORH was led to Assistant Pastor Norris Bain of Tabernacle through contacts.  Through several phone calls the process of helping the church began. Airplanes from the Air Hope Coalition began to make flights almost daily bringing needed building supplies and relief goods.  ORH purchased plywood, sheet rook, tape, mud, tools, cleaning supplies, nails, screws, paint, carpet, chairs, and things too numerous to mention. Teams from churches and groups began to help rebuild, some of which were the results of contacts through ORH.  The airplanes eventually gave way to ships.  The cargos were larger, and the work of restoration moved ahead rapidly. The attachment gives you a visual presentation of the progression of the rebuilding of the auditorium of the church.  The last text I received was a great blessing.  Pastor Bain sent pictures of the services of the church in the new auditorium.  He could have written “Wow! This is so beautiful.”  He did not.  He wrote, “Awesome…Thought about the worth of a soul today.” ORH along with Pastor Bain really believes that helping restore a church building and equipment is for one purpose, the soul Jesus died to save!  Thank you for joining us in this good work.
