Harvey, Puerto Rico Update

Saturday, December 16, 2017

Dear Friends,

Hurricane Harvey

Val Verde Baptist

Val Verde Baptist Church has always been a strong and aggressive church.  Because of Hurricane Harvey many of their congregation have been greatly burdened.  ORH discovered that one of their Christian school teachers, Britney Gullickson, lost her automobile due to Harvey.  ORH was able to help her secure a used car so that she can continue teaching at the school without taking extra work to afford a car.  Thank God for all of you who have made this possible.

Victory Baptist Church

Pastor David Cripps of Victory Baptist Church had many people greatly impacted by Harvey.  Three families have yet to return to their homes.  ORH was able to send these families financial encouragement.  Pray that the families will be able to return to their homes soon.  Pastor Cripps is a good man and pastor for the people of Victory.

Puerto Rico

Paula Van Natta

Paula Van Natta is a missionary in Puerto Rico with Baptist World Missions.  Recently she brought to the attention of ORH the need of families in one of the mountain regions of Puerto Rico.  One family is an older couple who needs repair to their home.  ORH is waiting now for the repair costs to be finalized so help can be provided.  Thank you so much for praying for the situations.

“Hello Br. Milton, Paula here in Puerto Rico. Look there is a faithful couple in our church who are retired, he seems to be in beginning stages of Alzheimer.  They have severe roof damage and FEMA is only offering them a low interest loan to repair the roof. Would Operation Hope be able to help with supplying building materials to fix their house? FEMA hasn't even covered the house with a tarp yet.  Building supplies are scarce...a wooden tin roof is what will be installed again.... Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Hello Bro. Milton!

Here's the list of materials...the family is more than grateful and ever humbled by whatever you are able to do. The construction will begin in January Lord willing.”

The cost of the roof repair and materials at present is about $5000.00.  Please pray for this couple.  Thank God for Paula.

Pastor Javier Donatiu

Pastor Donatiu wrote ORH about the needs for his church, Calvary Baptist Church.  ORH was able to send $2500.00 to help with repairs.  Pastor Donatiu wrote the following.

“Our church is located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, ….  By the grace of God, we have 60 faithful members. By the passing of Hurricane Maria through P.R., our church had some significant damages to the structure. We lost the ceiling of our youth classroom, our storage ceiling was also destroyed. The windows of our Sunday School classroom were damaged and other structures were destroyed as well (light poles, church sign etc.)  We believe God has called us to keep working for Him through hard times and that's why we want to restore our church, God's church, to continue the work He has called us to do. Thank you so much for your help!”

JEREMY MARKLE

Although our air flights have ceased, we are still concerned about the need for food and supplies for the people of Puerto Rico.  It is wonderful that men like Jeremy Markle of Baptist World Mission is concerned about this.  ORH was able to send $1200.00 dollars for Brother Markle to purchase food and distribute.  He is working on another food distribution now to the people.  ORH also bought 400 water filters through Allen Copeland who delivered them to Brother Markle to distribute to the people.  Pray for him as he labors to help the churches and the people of Puerto Rico.

The following is a series of texts from Brother Markle.

“We made some purchases of some supplies. Here are the receipts for now. We already distributed some to one pastor and another is coming tomorrow.  We will need a little time to see the need for future purchases. We are taking it one day at a time to see how needs develop. Thank you so much for your help.

Good morning. I wanted to drop you a quick not to let you know that I received 400 filters yesterday from brother Copland.

Good evening. I just had contact with one of the pastors in a more rural area and he is asking for a few more supplies. We are hoping to get together for some things on Wednesday. Thankfully the other pastors are doing ok.”

Thank you for your giving!!

Hurricane Update Puerto Rico

Hurricane Update Puerto Rico

Sunday, November 19, 2017

Dear Friends,

ORH received information from Dr. Johnny Daniels about the demolition of his Bible college building.  A team of 10 men came to help with the demolition.  He is going to need money and labor to restore the building for his students.

Dr. Daniels wrote the following and sent pictures.

“Here is what we are doing (see PDF) also you can see the big termite nest.  The building is coming down slowly.  Thank you for all your help.

I will continue to keep you updated.  We will need work teams, but I will contact you before-hand.  Still trying to clean up now.”

ORH hopes your church will consider helping Dr. Daniels.  When Dr. Daniels communicated with ORH, he was working with the team.  He just got water at his house and electricity.  Pray for him, his church, and the ministries.

India and Harvey

India and Harvey Update

Sunday, November 19, 2017

Dear Friends,

INDIA

ORH thanks God that brothers and sisters around the world share the same heart for ministry.  They minister the mercy of God both physically and spiritually.  Dr. John Paul Moses and his team of workers in Bangalore, India, are partners demonstrating that our God is Love.  Please read the following from Dr. John Paul and see the PDF.

“Dear Uncle Jan and Dr Daniel's, Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We have returned safely back to Bangalore from a fruitful evangelistic medical Ministry. Please find the PDF attached to this email, which contains pictures and descriptions of what the Lord did in Hubli Prison and Hubli Gadag Lepers Colony.

We held these clinics for two days in Hubli Prison and thereafter moved onto Hubli Gadag Lepers Colony to provide medical and Gospel aid.

Thank God for ORH and the sacrifice and the provision that was made possible to conduct these clinics. I pray, appeal and plead that God will continue to sustain this medical ministry.

We were able to minister in Hubli Prison, took care of 186 inmates, most of them under trials for murders, gang violence, dacoity, theft and robbery. Open air evangelism was possible and personal evangelism done genuinely.  Bibles were distributed, Thank God for the transformation of lives with the physical and spiritual help rendered. 6 people in the prison made decisions for Christ and 8 of them in the leper’s colony.  I am so thankful for the Lord for my beloved wife, parents, my siblings, and family and the entire team, volunteers, for their support.

We are fully committed for the cause of Christ in our heathen country. God is doing great wonders and miracles through works which otherwise are impossible to accomplish. May God bless each one of you name by name and bless your hearts for your love and compassion for the people of India.  We love you, Yours faithfully in Christ, Dr John Paul Moses

Ps: Elizabeth, Mom and Dad and Titus send best wishes and thankfulness unto you all.”

Thank God that He continues to offer ORH opportunities to demonstrate his mercy, love, and grace.  The money necessary to do this VMA Clinic, $1850.00, came from those who support our efforts around the world.  Thank you and may our God bless you for thinking of ORH and its partners.

HARVEY

On November 11th, Pastor Will Cover and Arise Baptist Church conducted a celebration service “Hope after Harvey.”  Pastor Will brought pastors and members of churches which were damaged during Hurricane Harvey.  Testimonies, music, and rejoicing in the Lord were enjoyed.  After the event, a Texas barbeque was provided by Pastor Will’s church for all.  ORH was thankful to be included in this service, and for the expressions of thanks by those giving testimony of God’s use of ORH in their lives and churches.

Thank God for Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis Indiana, which following the praise service, sent a team to plan a work team’s arrival from their church with Pastor Cover.  The team will help families and churches still trying to climb out of the disaster.  Colonial Hills has long been a great partner with ORH.

Val Verde Baptist Church in Groves, TX, has been sent $8000.00 to help a teacher in their church school replace her automobile which was destroyed in the Hurricane.  ORH is thankful for God’s servants who in spite of great difficulty continue to be a vital part of their church ministry.  For Pastor Nick Dignan and his people who have long been faithful, ORH desires the blessings of God.

God bless,

Jan Milton

IRMA and DOMINICA

dWednesday, November 15, 2017

Dear Friends,

IRMA

It has been ORH’s privilege to work with Pastor Guy Altizer.  His ministry, Windows of Heaven, is a great blessing.  While working in South Florida for ORH, he found a family through Winkler Road Baptist Church needing help.  His report below will be a blessing.

“FORT MEYER’S WORK DESCRIPTION

Operation Renewed Hope in cooperation with Windows of Heaven Ministries  sent a team to Fort Meyers, FL to help with the renovation of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Thompson's home that was devastated by recent hurricane Irma. The team consisted of Dave Hearn, Mike Hooks and I.  We were there from October 30 thru November 4.  We were able to install some of the sheet rock and apply two coats of mud on most of the rooms.  We cleared construction debris from the front of the home and took it to the land fill.  It was a joy to serve the Lord by helping these two faithful members of Winkler Road Baptist Church.  We are very grateful for Pastor Don Strange and his assistant pastor, Robert Sutton, and the folks of the church who were so kind and gracious to us and saw to it that our every need was met. Many of the church folks also gave many hours of labor in the renovation process.  Thank you.”

God has been so good to provide such wonderful help as Pastor Altizer and Windows of Heaven.  We are thankful to cooperate with them and supply funds for their teams to work.

DOMINICA

Mike Coupe, missionary pilot, wrote the following.

“Dear Jan, I would like to start out by praising the Lord for the ministry of Operation Renewed Hope and Air Hope. It has been both humbling and honorable to fly for this ministry.  We have met so many people face to face that have suffered destruction, many are still without electricity and water.  The joy that we have seen on their faces as we delivered food, water, generators and other supplies donated by ORH has been incredible.  The churches and pastors in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. Thomas, Anguilla, and Dominica have experienced first-hand the importance of the aviation ministry; and first responders in the disaster relief efforts.

Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are slowly getting back to a non-emergency state, so I have flown farther south to the Island of Dominica.  Dominica is by far the most devastated island. The entire Island has been impacted and has been labeled the “ROOFLESS NATION”.

Currently, I’m in Dominica assessing the damage and organizing a plan to re-build our church and help restore the community.  This will be a long-term project, and will be very challenging and costly due to the terrain and lack of supplies on the island.  Electricity is not expected to be restored to our area for the next two years.  The following is a plan by which we can help with your help.

1. If funds are available, we want to provide Christmas for approximately 200 children in our village by providing each child with a backpack containing school supplies and $20.00 for a family Christmas meal.  This will be a great opportunity to share God’s love and the gospel.  This is time sensitive.

2. The pastors home was destroyed, and we have moved his family into what is left of the Sunday school rooms, while we hope to rebuild his home.

3. The Laplaine Baptist Church has no roof, we are planning to replace it.

I have secured a home and warehouse in the village that can house work teams.   We have shipped two containers of food and supplies needed for reconstruction projects.

With tears in my eyes, the words “thank you” can never say how grateful we are.  With what you have committed already, ORH has made a huge impact in the village of Laplaine. We have had several souls saved.”

ORH is thankful for all who are working in the impact areas under difficult situations.  Mike is sleeping under a tarp over a Sunday school area in a damaged church.  We hope you will pray for him, the pastor, and the church congregation.  The work must continue with God’s blessings.

Uganda

Saturday, November 4, 2017

Dear Friends,

Uganda

October 21-29, ORH had the blessing of sending 42 people to Uganda to conduct an evangelistic medical clinic with missionary Keith Stensaas.  The team worked out of Masaka which is the home of Keith and Sally Stensaas.  Two days of clinic was conducted with two separate churches; and then, two days of clinic with a start-up church in Mutukula which is a border town, part in Uganda, and part in Tanzania.

The clinic serviced over 1000 patients in the regular clinic days.  The number of patients grew to over 1300 patients total when the team used wellness-packs treatment for the over-flow patients each day.

The national pastors working with Keith Stensaas preached the gospel with heart and love for their people.  As a result, God used the word; and 238 people came to Christ during the clinics.  One pastor expressed that he never had so many people to follow-up.

God blessed our team, and all came home with great blessings.  Thank you Lord for great missionaries, great nationals, and a great medical team.

Puerto Rico, Anguilla, Vieques, Dominica

While ORH was in the Uganda Evangelistic Clinic, Captain Terry Rushing of Wings as Eagles flew missions to Vieques, San Juan, Anguilla, and Ponce.  Terry and his staff with their Piper Chieftain worked with Bill Pfaunmiller and pastors to deliver food, supplies, and water.  ORH provided funds to make these flights effective to the islands.

Thank God for Loren Challenger and his family on Dominica clearing a yacht load of supplies.  The Challenger family has worked very hard to help the people on Dominica.

Thank God for Gordon Dickson, David Shumate, and Bacilio Alfaro of MGM International in Pheonix, AZ.  With their direction and efforts, over 200 water filters were delivered for use in San Juan and Ponce.  ORH was blessed to provide the money for the purchase of the units, and Bacilio Alfaro delivered the units to Pastor Suni Ponce.

Thank God for Bill Pfaunmiller who has been directing the work of ORH on Puerto Rico, but has now returned to the United States.  He worked in Puerto Rico since the beginning of the Maria event.  Thank you brother for your very hard work and welcome home.

God bless,

Jan Milton

Harvey and Irma Update

Thursday, October 19, 2017

Dear Friends,

Harvey

Often, it is very easy to forget needs when those needs are not on the evening news.  Although not covered by the news networks now, there are still needs in the Harvey impact zone.  Please read the report by Greg Rife who is founder and director of Restore Ministries.”

“Jan, Quick update on our Hurricane Harvey relief status.  The homes that we are planning to remodel have all been gutted and are nearly dry and ready for re-construction.  We’ve asked churches around the country to adopt a home or perhaps partner with another church to do so and fund raising is under way.  We have decided to assist with reconstruction and fund raising for a couple of churches in the Beaumont/Baytown area as well.  Specifically, we need to raise about $50,000 for Victory Bible Baptist Church in Vidor, TX. We expect much of our time, effort and personnel to be focused on this project.  Anything you could do to help raise funds for this project would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your support and all you do.  Talk to you soon. In His Service, Greg Rife”

ORH will join with Greg in this project pledging $10,000.00 to repair homes and churches.  ORH thanks all who have donated toward Harvey making it possible.

Irma

Marathon Baptist Church

Pastor Wielander and his church, Marathon Baptist Church, are still caring for the people in Marathon, FL. They are providing donated appliances, and it has been very successful.  ORH helped with this project.  Pastor Wielander wrote the following.

“What an unbelievable morning! We had about 100 NEW VISITORS this morning!

Many I recognized from around town. Some I had invited to church but have never come, but The Lord brought them for an appliance.

I gave them the gospel in Sunday School and main service. I told them that Jesus had another much greater gift that He wants them to receive, forgiveness of their sins through His blood that He shed on the cross for them. About 5 people raised their hand wanting Jesus Christ to be their savior.  Almost half raised their hand indicating they already receive Christ as Savior.

Thank you very much for being a continual blessing!”

Please see the PDF for pictures.

Calvary Baptist Church

Through Pastor Travis Smith of Hillsdale Baptist Church, Tampa, FL, ORH has contacted Pastor Mike Robinson and Calvary Baptist Church in Marathon, FL.  ORH asked for a description of the church’s situation.

“Thank you for contacting me.  It was a great blessing to talk to you this morning.  Per our conversation, here is a synopsis of the needs at Calvary Baptist in Marathon FL.

The most pressing need is for a new roof.  We seriously…  need to put a metal roof on this building….  This town (and the Keys) have been devastated by Irma.  The media aren't talking about it, but the situation is dire.

I secured a quote for a metal roof with a 10 year warranty for $45,000….  We have a pledge for half of that already.  That leaves a remaining need of $22,500 to get a roof put on the building….

The entire first/ground floor of the church was flooded with 4 feet of sea water.  It is completely gutted and is a total loss.  I spoke to a general contractor in the church and we agree that the total loss is in the $100,000 range….

However!  That's the situation with a church building….  We have been distributing food and cleaning supplies to the community in the midst of the wreckage.  What a blessing!  We have met many folks we may have never met without the storm.  What an opportunity to share Jesus!

With all the damage down here, technology isn't working just yet.  The only phone working is my cell phone.  Pass it on!  305-619-0253…mikemakesmusic@gmail.com.  God bless you all.  Praise His Holy Name!  Mike”

Pray for this pastor.  ORH hopes to help the church with $10,000.00 for repairs.  Pray for the money to help this brother in Christ restore the church.

Fort Myers, Florida

Pray for Pastor Guy Altizer and a work team from Calvary Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC.  The team will help an elderly couple restore their home.  Pastor Altizer met the family through Winkler Road Baptist Church, Pastor Don Strange while on another ORH mission.  Pastor Altizer needs extra workers for this project at the end of this month.  Please contact Windows of Heaven Ministries, 864-906-4647.

There is much to be done.  ORH and all its friends are thankful to do the work.

If you wish to give by check, please send the check to Operation Renewed Hope, P.O. Box 43242, Fayetteville, NC 28309.  Please designate the gift for your specific purpose using “My preference is” then stipulate your preference.

Caribbean Update

Saturday, October 14, 2017

Dear Friends,

Puerto Rico

Bill Pfaunmiller has been working through ORH in Puerto Rico since the early days of Maria.  He has delivered food, water, equipment, and supplies from Air Hope air-drops to communities in need.  He is now in the phase of finding churches and homes that are damaged and need help.  Please read his weekly report.

“1. Christian Fellowship Bible Church of Isabela, Pastor Joe Caraballo - lost roof on auditorium (could not locate on first attempt)

2. First Baptist of Ceiba, Pastor Luis Martinez - lost roof on school building, Est. $25,000

3. Bible Baptist Church, Caguas, Pastor Ariel Ramirez - lost roof on annex and part of auditorium, Est. $25,000 (have promises for 8,000)

4. Evangelical Baptist of Bayamon, Pastor Samuel Santos - roof damage to storage and classrooms, Est. $15,000

5. PR Baptist Bible College, Basilio Alfaro - roof damage to cafeteria, fence damage, electrical issues.

6. Calvary Baptist and College, Carolina, Pastor Johnny Daniels - roof damage to church, water damage, destruction of dorms and offices, seeking to build cement structure, Est. $250,000….Bill Pfaunmiller”

Bill also sent this report.

There are also several needs in a personal level:

1. Jerry Harmon and his wife lost their home. I need to verify if they own or rent.

2. Pastor Gabriel Velazquez lost roof on part of their home. He isa bi-vocational pastor and does not have funds for repairs. At least $5,000 needed.

3. Pastor Alexis Colon and his wife lost their jobs and the church is unable to help them.

ORH is suggesting that churches adopt the mentioned ministries and pastors.  We need at least 3 or 4 churches per damaged church or home to help rebuild.  The rebuilding needs are financial or sending workers.  Please, contact ORH, if your church would like to adopt one of these ministries.

ORH thanks Pastor Suni Ponce for helping ORH send tarps to Paula Van Natta and her deaf school.  David Shumate sent us the following report.

“Dear Jan, Here is Suni's receipt for the tarps for Paula VanNatta. I verified with Angel Espada (pastor) that they are going to the contacts that she has through her deaf school…. Thanks much for all you are doing. David R. Shumate, General Director, MGM International”

Anguilla

Pastor Norrell Gump on Anguilla called ORH this week thanking God for the food drops by Mike Coupe and Tim Langford.  He reported to us that they put the batteries delivered into flashlights and held Wednesday night prayer service.  He said their church was sharing their food with the community around them.

Pilot Mike Coupe wrote the following about Anguilla.

“The Lord used the airplane to bring much needed aid to Pastor Norrell Gump. It was a blessing to see his reaction to the amount of supplies the Aztec can fly.  While I was there he showed me several areas where his church members were, and the destruction is terrible. His wife cooked up some rice and beans for lunch, and we sat without power and water and thanked the Lord for his blessings.”

Dominica

Pray for a super yacht crossing the Atlantic at this time from Spain.  The ship has food and supplies for the work in Dominica.  It is scheduled to arrive in Antigua on Thursday.  They will take on cargo there and sail again Thursday evening.  They hope to arrive Dominica Friday morning of this week.

ORH thanks Tony and Jonathan Cornelius of Gospel Fellowship Association.  This is a direct result of their work.  ORH will help to get this ship cargo into the Carib people through the Challenger family.  Pray that all goes well.

Mike Coupe our Air Hope pilot wrote the following from his flights into Dominica.

“As you know Hurricane Marie hit Dominica as a category five storm. ORH has already sent food and supplies to the Challengers and also the LaPlaine Baptist Church.  This is the church we re-planted and have been with since 2012. Now the church is pastored by Asha Loronde. They have lost the roof of the church and most of the furnishings.  The pastor has lost his home and everything inside. We have used tarps to dry in the church and have moved his family into the kitchen area.  We are calling Dominica the roofless nation. Every home has been damaged if not destroyed.”

HOUSTON, SOUTH FLORIDA, CARIBBEAN

Wednesday, October 11, 2017

Dear Friends,

ORH thanks all who have donated to the efforts in Harvey, Irma, and Maria impact areas.  The work continues and much more needs to be done.  We are hearing of spiritual blessings as the work continues.

Houston

Pastor William Cover will be conducting a special “Praise the Lord” service in Houston in November for those who have been helped in Houston and the surrounding area.  Operation Renewed Hope will be addressing this group.  Please pray, there is still much to be done in this area.  Thank God, ORH can be a part of this celebration.  We need skilled workers.  Contact ORH about a special work plan for this area.

South Florida

Thank God for Pastor Wielander and Marathon Baptist Church working with the people in South Florida.  ORH sent $7250.00 to the church to pay for 50 refrigerators and 50 stoves to be distributed to families in the Irma impact area.  Pastor Wielander is faithfully giving the gospel.

Puerto Rico, Anguilla, Dominica

Jim Childress, a missionary friend of years in Panama, helped direct ORH food drops to Orlando Rivera in Dorado Beach, PR.  Pastor Rivera and his church are a good, aggressively gospel-giving church in need.  ORH hopes the supplies helped.  If money is available, we will attempt another drop.

Through the hard work of Tim Langford and Mike Coupe, ORH has made another food drop to Norrell Gumbs on Anguilla.  His church is distributing the food to many.  Thank God for people like Ray Thompson and Dr. Johnny Daniels who care for Pastor Gumbs.  Pray for Mike Coupe as he makes another drop today.  This will make three drops to this brother and his church.

Tim Langford and Dave Spangler returned to the United States safely.  Brother Langford loaned ORH his airplane and services unselfishly.  As usual, Dave Spangler was a great blessing.  ORH thanks God for both of these good men, especially that they are safely home.

Pastor Yadin Rodriguez sent the following report to ORH about the cooperative efforts of Iglesia Bautista Christiana and ORH.  Thank God for this church and the lead pastor, Pedro da Cunha.  Over the years, they have consistently helped ORH to service the Caribbean.

“Here is a basic report of what Operation Renewed Hope (Jan Milton) has been doing in Puerto Rico and some other islands. ORH sends money for fuel for airplanes and for the food for PR and the islands. Iglesia Bautista Cristiana purchases the food, transports it to the airport and takes care of the pilots while they are in Santo Domingo. So far, we have delivered close to 20,000 lbs. of food and water, along with generators and tools. In addition to these supplies, several teams have been flown to Calvary Baptist Tabernacle (Pr. Daniels) and Iglesia Bautista de la Fe in Ponce (Missionary Jeremy Markle).

We praise the Lord for the opportunity to work along the ministry of ORH in assisting these dear brothers in the islands. We are very thankful for the pilots (Mike Coupe, Dave Spangler, Tim Lankford, AJ James) and many others who have invested of their time (days) in assisting us in the Caribbean. It has been a great blessing to see the Church of Christ all over the world working together to show God´s love to those in distress and affliction at this time.”

Maria Impact Area Report

Friday, October 6, 2017

Dear Friends,

ORH thanks all those who have helped with the work in the Maria impact area..

ORH thanks the pilots, David Spangler, Mike Coupe, and Tim Langford,

who have flown constantly for the work in Puerto Rico, Anguilla, and Dominica.

ORH thanks those who made it possible to be in the air consistently, Pastor Yadin Rodriguez and Pastor Pedro Da Cunha, Iglesias Bautista Christiana of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

ORH thanks Mr. and Mrs. Ken Kirkland of Caribbean Lighthouse Radio on the island of Antigua for obtaining and loading planes to Dominica.

ORH thanks Bill Pfaunmiller and Pastor Mark Worsham for their patience and work in Ponce, PR.  They have been working tirelessly receiving and distributing supplies and equipment.

ORH thanks all of you have provided the money for the work in the Maria impact area.

This message just came from the Challenger family on Dominica.  So far, ORH with the help of Mr. and Mrs. Kirkland have delivered 2800 pounds of food to the Challengers ministering in Dominica to the Carib people.

“Good Morning.  My brother Tim spoke with dad for about 3 minutes yesterday. He wanted us to express his gratitude.  The first supplies that were sent last week was the first of any relief to reach their area.  The needs are huge there are so many people starving he said.  Government aid has not reach the area yet so many people have been looking to the church for help.  We really appreciate all you have been doing.”

ORH hopes to provide more food and supplies into Dominica.  Mike Coupe is going there this week-end with his plane.

The following is a report of some of the basic activities in the DR which have made it possible for us to work in the Maria Impact area.  Pastor Yadin writes.

ORH also received a phone call from Anguilla today from a graduate of Carolina Bible College who has a church on the island.  Mike Coupe flew a mission into him with food and supplies.  He said he was so grateful for the help, and they were distributing food from their church to the people on the island.  He asked could we send more food to them and a generator.  Pray we can get a flight into them again.  Just not enough twin engine planes to fly.

Pray that all the workers and pilots remain safe.
