Dear Friends,
ORH NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!!!
INDIA
In addition to
our new support of Soroti Orphan Assistance Program for 2020, by faith, ORH
wants to start support for Dr. John Paul Moses orphanage in Bhadravati, Karnataka,
India. He and his father J.D. Moses
have been faithful throughout the years in the face of crushing
opposition. They work with Vision2020Asia,
missionary Jim Starr. Please read the
following from Dr. John Paul.
“Dear Uncle
Jan and Brother Daniel Jones, Happy Christmas and a blessed new year ahead.
Thank you so much for helping us to
conduct these clinics at the prison and the leper’s colony. Many have been
blessed with the Gospel and the medical aid.
Please pray that there would be a way
for our missionary to visit these areas regularly for follow ups and
hopefully start a small church for the new believers. There is a lot
happening in our country and there is a lot of resistance. Please keep
praying for us and our family as we remain faithful to the calling.
There are many financial and legal
pressures, I continue to believe that God will make a way. I will be writing more on the NGO and the
clinic which we had discussed earlier.
I am also attaching the pictures of the
kids at the orphanage. God has blessed us with a lot of work and
responsibilities. Thanks a lot for coming forward to help. Please
remember my family, especially my mother and father and this ministry. Yours
faithfully in Christ, Jp and Eliz.”
Pray for this
wonderful ministry. Thank you for your
support which will help us to continue our “Homes of Hope” ministry in India
(2), Nepal (1), Ukraine (Feeding), and Uganda (2). Please, download the attachments. If you know of a children’s home any place,
please, write us.

NOW THIS IS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS
Wednesday,
December 25, 2019
Dear Friends,
NOW THIS IS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS!!!
There are days when God’s blessings overcome any hardship
that you ever experience. This is a report about one of those days. In 2018, Pastor Steven Perrine and Victory Baptist
Church faced the impact of Hurricane Michael.
Well, I will let him tell you…
“Dear
Bro. Milton, I just wanted to take a moment to say how good God had been to
us at Victory Baptist Church in Panama City, Fl. On October 10, 2018 our town and church were
hit by Hurricane Michael, a category 5 storm. We suffered extensive damage to
our building. We had a 68,300
deductible with our insurance company. Not sure what to do except to begin to
pray and ask for God's help in this matter. Through the help of ministries
like Operation Renewed Hope, Churches and individuals; God more than supplied
the need that we had. Then through the faithful help of many people
construction began as we set out to rebuild our building. God blessed and on
October 27th, 2019 we had our first service back in our sanctuary.
It was our Church's 36th anniversary.
There was over 100 people present as we celebrated this wonderful day and
rejoiced in what the Lord had done. Praise the Lord over the last year since
the storm we have had 20 plus people added to our church. And the icing on
the cake was God provided for our mortgage to be paid off so now our church
is renovated and completely debt-free. Again, praise the Lord, He is good all
the time.”
ORH
sends this to you on Christmas day so you can tell your family that God gave
his son whose birth we are remembering with our festivities. But we must never forget, God continues to
give in each dark circumstance of life because he loves us. In the face of our greatest heart aches, God
sees! He saw Victory Baptist Church,
and many others impacted by Hurricane Michael.
ORH,
thanks God that He allowed us through you to be a part of God’s grace in
Panama City, FL. Mr. Ted Weinberg and
his crews worked, relentless, to finish this church. Ted has partnered with ORH in the past, and
he is God’s good man. Please download
the attachment.
Pastor
Perrine what a great Christmas story! – “God so loved that he gave.” Anytime you need ORH, pick up the phone. We love Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND GOD BLESS US, EVERYONE!!!

Dear Friends,

sent support to these children’s homes for many years. Each year, there are more blessings from
the work done.

NEPAL – HOUSE OF MERCY CHILDREN’S HOME
James and Holly Tamang are in Katmandu, Nepal. One of our board members visited with them
and came back with a great report of the work they are doing in Nepal. They have sent us this report:
“God is good all the time. I am so grateful for His provisions for our
ministries here in Nepal. Even with
inflation skyrocketing God is still providing and meeting needs here….
Thank you very much for your continual support
to our ministries. Through Christ
alone, James & Holly Tamang
INDIA – HIMALAYAN CHILDREN HOME OF HOPE
Pastor Athem Chothe has proven
himself faithful. His home was one of

missionary.
Please go to the PDF to see the

“Dear Dr Jan, Greetings to you from Himalayan Children Home
of Hope. The children and doing well and they just completed their final
exams. Some of the older children are no more with us and we are able to take
new ones and they are still small. I have two special needs of the two single
boys. The smaller boy is called Sanjay Gurung who is in need of eyes surgery,
please pray for him. The bigger boy is Angmei who is studying M.Div. at
Himalayan Baptist Seminary and preparing to go back to his village in Myanmar

NEW CHILDREN'S HOME IN HOMES OF HOPE
Wednesday,
December 18, 2019 Dear Friends,
NOW THIS
IS CHRISTMAS!!!
Uganda - Soroti Orphan Assistance Program Homes of Hope is one of the best things that ORH does. It is exactly the definition of pure religion. James 1:27 27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Missionary to Uganda, Alan Sutphen, wrote the following: “Bro Jan, …Our children's home is called the Soroti Orphan Assistance Project (SOAP) and is on a 19 acre property that also contains the Independent Baptist Church (IBC), the orphanage and a primary school for the orphans. We currently have 45 children, ages 6-16, in separate boys and girls dormitories. After they graduate from primary school they go on to boarding schools in Secondary school or a vocational school of their choice. They are supported by donations from individuals and churches. SOAP supports the children until the graduate from Secondary or the vocational program. We have the children return to their villages three times a year during school breaks to maintain their relationships with their relatives. If you are considering supporting SOAP that would be a great blessing! Just let me know any details you need. Thanks so much. Have a blessed week! Alan and Elena Sutphen Luke 9:2” ORH will begin support of this children’s home immediately. Each month ORH will send $100.00 for food for the children. Please download the PDF to see pictures of Soroti Orphan Assistance Program in Uganda.

Christmas in Uganda
Saturday, December 14, 2019
Dear Friends,
NOW THIS IS CHRISTMAS!!!
Uganda - Soroti Orphan Assistance Program
Keith Stensaas hosted our Uganda 2019 clinic. We had a great clinic with Keith. With all our Ugandan partners there were 97 on our medical team. We broke into two groups and treated over 2000 patients all being given the message of Christ.
One patient was a 17 year-old patient with a serious hip problem. Alan Sutphen in Soroti, Uganda is a medical missionary, and he helped ORH obtain surgical help for the young man and wrote the following.
“Bro Milton, The young man's name is Kaduma Christopher. He is a 17 y/o young man who dislocated his hip over a year ago.
The labs showed no evidence of infection, so the surgeon is recommending a total hip replacement. As one who worked for 15 years in orthopaedic surgery, doing hip replacements in teens is not the best scenario…. But certainly, a replacement would give him much better mobility and better quality of life.
I spoke to the surgeon today, and the price is $6,000 for the prosthesis, hospital costs, etc. He'll get me an itemized bill and I can send it to you. Blessings, Alan”
Because Caduma Christopher is young, eventually, he will need another surgery. Brother Sutphen also wrote this week.
“Bro Jan, I spoke to the surgeon today, and he said Chris' surgery can be done next Friday. I suppose we would need the funds by next week….”
Pray for this young man. His father is dead, and he lives with his grandfather. Life can be difficult at times. ORH wants to relieve some of that if possible. They both have received the Gospel. By faith, ORH is sending the funds for the surgery.
Thanks to Keith Stensaas and Alan Sutphen for their work. Please download the PDF to see Caduma Christopher and his grandfather.
If you wish to give by credit or debit card, please go to www.operationrenewedhope.org and choose “Network for Good.” Please designate the gift for your specific purpose using “My preference is” then stipulate your preference.

ORH CHRISTMAS IN LEBANON
Thursday, December 12, 2019
Dear Friends,
NOW THIS IS CHRISTMAS!!!
LEBANON – GOSPEL BAPTIST CHURCH
Pastor Karim Dahdah is still working diligently and ministering through Gospel
Baptist Church in Zahle, Lebanon. The church’s ministry includes a ministry to Syrian families who have been relocated to Lebanon due to the dangerous conditions in Syria. Pastor Dahdah is faithful to tell them of Christ.
The need during the winter in Zahle is heating fuel. Pastor Dahdah supplies heating fuel through a voucher system with local business. Operation Renewed Hope has been privileged to supply funds to support this effort. ORH sent $1500.00 this year to buy heating fuel.
Pray that ORH will have enough money to help even more in the coming days. We need open ministry while the Syrian people are in a country where the gospel can be preached, and a church can have authority to exist. ORH thanks missionary Sam Stricklin for his consistent work so that money can be sent for ministry.
Please download the PDF to see some of the people receiving their vouchers from Pastor Karim.

Dear Friends,
NOW THIS IS THANKSGIVING!!!
Uganda, Pastor Zebedee’s School Desks
See the attachment for pictures of Pastor Zebedee’s school in Kasese, Uganda. Thanks to Keith and Matt Stensaas for helping us deliver the $1000.00 to Pastor Zebedee. He is a good man in a very hard situation. He has hundreds of kids in the church school on the mountain just outside of Kasesee. He wrote the following.
“Our school children are so happy with desks, Thank you so much,
with the money you sent it has enabled us to make 50 desks and now we are
praying for more 50 for everyone to seat on a desk, thank for me everyone that
supported towards this school need. Nov

offered to us.”
Pray ORH can do the other 50 chairs.
Liberia 2020 – Staff Filled
Thank you to all who are going to Liberia in January 2020. Our team is reaching 40 now. We think we have enough caregivers; however, we will always take any caregiver wishing to travel. Please pray for the team.
Hurricane Dorian
Mike Vanhorn’s building team and Tim Layne’s building team did great work repairing the auditorium of Tabernacle Baptist Church. They were also able to begin rebuilding Pastor Bain’s house.
ORH needs at least one more building team. ORH has purchased windows, doors, and all new kitchen appliances for Pastor Bain. Mrs. Bain was very excited that she was able to go to Home Depot and pick all new appliances for her home. This was all due to your giving. Currently, the Bain family is living with Mrs. Bain’s father and mother, Pastor and Mrs Woodside.
Please pray about making up a building team. Call 910-987-5072.
The new carpet for the church has arrived, and we have been told the chairs are almost at port for shipping to the church. Thanks goes to Kingdom Chairs for their great assistance with the chairs.
Due to your giving, ORH will be able to help three more pastors in the impact zone. A special thanks to Cornerstone Foundation.

PERU 2019 CLINIC UPDATE
Thursday, November 7, 2019
Dear Friends,
PERU 2019 – Sepahua, Miaria, Bufeo Pozo
ORH thanks all who prayed for our Peru 2019 Medical Clinic. The total team once assembled was made up of 51 people. We were able to work the jungle towns of Sepahua, Miaria, and Bufeo Pozo. On google earth search for Sepahua, Peru to see our location. Buddy Fitzgerald, Baptist World Mission, was our missionary who lead our group.
Our trip required that ORH charter planes from Pucallpa, Peru into Sepahua. ORH was glad to work with South American Mission – Air, SAETA, and HTS to use their planes to get our team into Sepahua.
The clinic was held in 3 days due to the air transportation timing. Our clinics treated over 1200 patients. In order to get to Miaria and Bufeo Pozo the team traveled by river. The first two days were spent in clinic at Miaria and Bufeo Pozo. The last day was spent at Sepahua.
The evangelism was a great blessing with well over 150 people coming to Christ. The mayor of Sepahua was instrumental in getting our permissions to do the clinic days. He also trusted Christ as a result of the missionary translator, Marcos, witnessing to him individually.
The town of Miaria cleared land for a church the first week after the clinic.
Buddy wrote us, “They have cleaned up the lot by hand for the new church building in Miaria.” He also sent a picture of their present meeting place. (See the attachment)
We were thankful for the missionaries coming 15 hours by boat from the southern region on the Madre de Dios river. Kristina Matson, Rachel Tarvin, Karina Stijnen, and Brother Whatley were a great blessing. Brother Whatley has been a missionary in Peru most of his life. He is in his late 70’s now. Peruvian preachers also came with them.
Wilbur Sebastian is our national pastor in Sepahua. He and other believers will follow-up the converts. We are thankful for Wilbur and his family who are faithful to work in Sepahua. ORH is praying for enough money to support him with at least $100.00 per month.
ORH thanks God for the Junior Nursing class of Maranatha Baptist University. Ann
Schmoeckel and Elizabeth Stille lead
the group of young men and women to Sepahua with ORH.
If you wish to give by credit or debit card, please go to www.operationrenewedhope.org and choose “Network for Good.” Please designate the gift for specific purpose using “My preference is” then stipulate your preference.

HURRICANE DORIAN
Tuesday, October 29, 2019
Dear Friends,
HURRICANE DORIAN
Please pray for Stephen Phelps who was scheduled to lead a building team into Freeport, Bahamas. Sunday, Oct 27, he suffered a stroke while at church. Pray God will restore this good man to His service.
We are now praying for a new building team. Today, ORH began talks with a Michigan group that may be able to go. ORH has purchased over $4000.00 of building materials and equipment for the work in Tabernacle Baptist Church, Freeport. The materials have been shipped and are on-site.
REFUGEES IN NASSAU
ORH is financing the work of Dirk Irick and his wife who will help the Bahamians stranded in Nassau from the Dorian impact islands. Please read Dirk’s letter.
“Dear Jan Milton, Hello, we are the Dirk Irick family. We are missionaries to Nassau Bahamas and are currently on deputation raising support. Our family had the opportunity to assist Victory Baptist Church in Nassau for VBS during the month of July and seen twenty-nine souls saved.
Since hurricane Dorian our family has been eager to help the Bahamians. The Lord closed many doors for us to go to Freeport. We are so excited that the Lord has directed us to our “Island” of Nassau to encourage the refugees. There are currently 1,600 refugees in shelters and the number is growing daily. One particular area named Fox Hill has a community center with about 150 refugees. Fox Hill is where our family stayed on our first visit to The Bahamas in 2015 and that is where the Lord burden our hearts to reach the youth. We are very familiar with the area and have many friends there.
…We want to take the good news of Jesus Christ to these hurting people October 11th-19th. Sincerely, Dirk Irick, Reaching the Youth of the Bahama”
As a result of their desire and specifics, ORH agreed to finance them up to $2000.00 for their efforts among the refugees on Nassau.
“Please click the link below to view our video from last week. Thank you again for your support. We will send you our prayer letter as soon as we complete it. Dirk Irick”

Uganda
VMA Clinic
ORH is enjoying the work that is being accomplished by the VMA clinics. This is a report by Keith Stensaas about one of those clinics. Please read the results.
“I’ll send the official form but wanted you to know how things went. It was a great first clinic, and I am looking forward to the next one. Here are the stats:
2 doctors / 1 nurse for pharmacy , 91 patients treated, 25 wellness packs given out, 31 salvation decisions. On Sunday we had several in church from visiting the clinic. Saw 7 more saved and 7 baptized. Good clinic all around. Church was really uplifted!!Btw, just so you know, I still have not received the VMA funds. 😀 Keith”
Pastor Zebedee
We were able to do a clinic in Kasese, Uganda, with Keith Stensaas’ brother, Matt. One of the pastors that helped with that clinic was Pastor Zebedee. He brought many of his church members for help. He wrote the following.
“…we lost our church member aged 67 years, and he died due to high blood pressure and diabetes, but praise the Lord he got saved during the clinic that you offered to us when you were at Kasese, And the family appreciated so much because of the medicine he received because it's what had helped him for all this time. He received both physical and spiritual medicine, he is now in heaven.”

Dear Friends,
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET
THE CHURCHES IN HOUSTON WHO HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY THE IMELDA. ORH IS IN CONTACT WITH TWO CHURCHES THERE.
HURRICANE DORIAN
PRAISE
THE LORD!!!
“So, once again let me tell you. A heartfelt thank you!”
These words close a very loving thank you from Pastor Bain. I am sure his expression of thanks represents Pastor Woodside and all who have been helped.
ORH takes joy in sending this special “thank you” to all who have helped in the Dorian effort, Flyn4God, Anchor Baptist Mission, Hearts with Hands, Mission Air Care, Landmark Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Westwood Lakes, Catawba Springs Christian Church, Tri-City Baptist Church, all the pilots, and many more who have contributed to the efforts in Dorian..
The efforts are not over. ORH has purchased building supplies from Lowes and will ship them to Tabernacle Baptist Church. Pastor Guy Altizer with Windows of Heaven has now secured two men to help with reconstruction. Pray that the supplies can be shipped in time for the workers to help rebuild.
Pray we secure pilots with planes to continue our shipping of supplies. We need twin-engine planes.
Pastor Bain requested 15 kindergarten desks with chairs and 50 kindergarten chairs. Later, he wrote.
“keyboard…, pulpit..., communion table….”
“We will need about 300 Chairs for church...the chairs and legs are rusted.”
“Good day bro hope you had restful day...can we get 7 teacher desks and 7 teacher chairs”
“Need about 8 air stress mattresses”
Please, contact, if you can help with these items. You may call ORH at 910-987-5072 or email jan@operationrenewedhope.org.

HURRICANE DORIAN AND HOUSTON AREA
Friday, September 20, 2019
Dear Friends,
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
This week our pilots were able to fly 30 missions. A.J. James, Mike Grimes, and Tim Lankford were in the air constantly. Pastor Sheppard of Tri-City Baptist Church, Port Charlotte, FL, supplied necessary support people to stage and load the planes, so they could turn around quickly. Please download the PDF for more information.
ORH needs pilots for next week. Please call 910-987-5072. An application will be sent immediately to become a part of the Air Hope family.
Dave Spangler, Flyn4God, and Mike Gentile, Anchor Baptist Mission combined efforts to make sure the planes kept flying. Dave set up a charge account for fuel with the FBO at Sebring which allowed the pilots to fuel and fly. Dave worked with the airport officials to make sure we had the ability to properly store supplies. We are thankful for all who participated.
Hearts with Hands and Anchor Baptist combined to move a tractor-trailer of supplies to Sebring. Hearts with Hands supplied the supplies, and Anchor Baptist Mission supplied a trailer with semi-truck to haul the load. Their cooperation was the source of materials for our air shipments.
Special orders did not upset the team in Sebring. During the chaos of moving 1000’s of pounds of relief goods, they were able to find and fly all the special requests. The pilots even brought back paint chips, so we could fly matching paint for the church walls. The church is now having Sunday services and with the new painted walls school will start on Monday.
Anchor Baptist Mission has 402 more boxes of food supplies. They also sent a K-Loader through Lighthouse Baptist Church in Panama City, FL which was struck by Hurricane Michael.
Pray our coalition will have the ability to greatly impact the islands. Every box distributed from Hearts with Hands had a Gospel of John and Romans. Gospel tracts were also in the boxes.
Continue to pray for the Mission Air Care pilot whose plane was damaged on landing. Thank God no one was injured. Pray very hard we will be successful and fight crews will be safe.
