Dear
Friends,
ORH has
received the following report by Pastor Giorgio Romani in Peru. Please
read his report.
“Mr. Milton, The pastor from Chiclayo took these pictures last
Saturday from an area of Lambayeque that was flooded almost two weeks ago.
There used to be a Baptist church in the area, but its temple has been pretty
much destroyed.
They are also in need and apparently, the weather is starting to get
better in this area, allowing us to plan a trip sooner than what we thought.
The pastor shared with us that they are in need to rebuild the temple
and also in need to fix their home and the house of another pastor that we also
know. The area is in need of toiletries and non-perishable foods. He mentioned
that they are concerned with the spreading of dengue and other diseases. They
are asking for a medical team, we will share the need with some national
doctors, hoping to plan a trip focused on medial assistance.
If you have any advice you could give me in how to handle these
situations and how to do bette... I would really appreciate it.
It is very overwhelming to hear the testimonies of the many that are
suffering. It is so hard to make a decision on where to help, but we have
focused our support in the areas I mentioned.
We pray for wisdom and we ask you to please continue to pray for us
and for much wisdom in how and whom to help. God bless, Giorgio Romani Gal
