Dear Friends,

South Carolina Floods

Columbia, SC

ORH has received approximately $8000.00 at this time to help repair the Congaree Baptist Church, Pastor Tim Driggers.  Please pray that we will find skilled workers willing to work without pay so that the money can be used exclusively for materials.  This is very important to the church, and its services.  Morningside Baptist in Greenville, SC is now working on mounting another mission to the church.  They have just recently returned from a mission to the church in which Morningside supplied $2000.00 for building materials and labor.

If your church can help, please call ORH at 910-987-5072 or write to

Pakistan Christians in Earthquake

This morning Sam Stricklin expressed his thanks for the efforts of those who helped the good in Pakistan.  ORH by your good help has raised the funds necessary to help the Pakistani Christians impacted by the recent earthquake.

Shortly, we will be sending the monies which totaled $6040.00 to Brother Silas Ayub.  Pray for the brothers in Pakistan as they go to assist their brethren in the earthquake impact area.  Attached is a communication provided by Sam Stricklin from the believers helping the 33 Christian families in the mountains.  Please download and read this for a great blessing.

In our next update we will provide a short video which this group has made.  You will be blessed by them.

Texas and Missouri

Pastor Jenkins and his ministry Nehemiah’s Network have now put together donations for the work in Missouri.  They left yesterday with a truck-load of supplies from Cleveland.  In Columbus, OH the truck broke down and was towed back to Cleveland.  They need our prayers as they recover the truck and put it back on the road for Arnold Baptist Tabernacle in Arnold, MO.  The church is in need and also is willing to work with the community.  Below is a picture of the general flooding.

Central Missionary Clearinghouse sent ORH a church in Texas in need.  Please pray we will be able to help.  They wrote the following.

“Pastor Larry Maddox, President of CMC, is submitting a request for help for this church in Austin, Texas.

Pastor Mike Marcellus's church had been flooded twice this year.  They just finished rebuilding after the first flood and now they have been flooded again.  Contact information is attached to this email.

Trust that your organization will be able to help them.

Happy New Year,

Linda Bridges”

Thank God for all of you who have helped.  Thank God for all the needs that have been met with your help.  Pray that many will hear the gospel.
