Wednesday August 12, 2015

Dear Friends,

Thank you for reading our updates.  Dr. Christian Wei in Saipan has answered and returned our questionnaire concerning his needs.  Please read his answers and consider helping him.

Please download the attachment for direct information from Dr. Wei.

“Dear Jan,  Thank you so much for your help.

What is your ministry name?
Christian Bible Church/Christian Way Missions

Who are your sponsors/mission board/Church affiliations?
Mission Board: Christian Way Missions

What are the locations in Saipan that you wish to help?
We need to have the Gualo Rai in Saipan. This is the place for most of our people and students.

What are your present financial capabilities?
We are in need of help to get the repair done. The financial support is needed.  We have international school and college under our church ministry.  So we have only the budget to support their education needs and without the budget to get all the restoration done.  We need to get generators to supply power so that we will be able to have the lights to start our schools.  We also need to have drinking water and water to provide our people’s needs. There are many victims who are lost their homes.

Can you buy items in your area to help the victims?
Yes, we can buy food, water and needy items for the victims.

What is basic needs of these people?
They need food and water, lodging, power (diesel fuel for the generators).

If you had $5000.00 please give me a budget as to how you would use it?

1.     We need to buy generators to supply power for the dorm for the students ($1500 for 2)

2.     We need to get fuel for the generators for daily use before the power company supply power to us. ($50 per day) $50 x 21 days =$1050

3.     We need to buy drinking water to provide our students and people. ($2.00 per bottle x 30 per day=$60 per day)  $60 x 21 days =$1260
Total: for estimate 21 days for Saipan to get back to normal: $5310.00

Are you willing to give the gospel to every person that you help?
Yes, we are willing to share with Jesus Christ our Savior.  We will be happy to do so.  Thank you so much for your help.

In Christ,  Christian Wei”
