Dear Friends,
Myanmar – Dr. David Sum and Ron White
Dr. David Sum wrote ORH the following report.
“Dear Brother Jan Milton,
Thank you very much for your help for the flood victims. This time we went to help 246 families of
three villages in Delta area. It was around 6 hours journey from Yangon. We
started from 2:00am in the morning. We came back Yangon at 6:00pm on the same
day. This time we tried to meet their
most needful thing as cooking oil and rice for them. In the village there is no more water flooded
but it is full of mud that makes very difficult to go here and there. Their greatest need according to them is
well. Because they don’t have now clean water. They depend on rain but as most
of them are living under thatch and bamboo houses they can’t get enough water
from rain. And also when there is no
rain they don’t have water. To supply water from Yangon is almost impossible.
Their most request is digging well for them. This is needful even at other
villages also where there have been flooded.
So, please pray with us for these special needs. There are many other villages which have been
flooded whole villages also. God willing, we are planning to reach them. I do
appreciate your earnest prayers. Many

Missionary Ron White who works with Dr. Sum wrote the
following.
“Thank you for the work you are doing, and thank you for the
pictures. It is good to know that you
are giving the gospel to those who are suffering.”
ORH is sending $2000.00 more for the work of Dr. Sum. This is a time ripe for reaching people who
normally would not be open to God’s Word.

Myanmar – Pastor John Cung and Benjamin Bounds
The information below came to us through Benjamin Bounds,
Faith International Partnership.
This a communication from Pastor John Cung. Read it with your heart because you will
understand the needs so much better.
“I will send you transportation receiet and some
picture. Attactment could not go to you.
I am very very busy to help our missionary Van hre lian family and his menber,
some buddist poeple to help them and preach them. Van hre lian lost everything
by the flood , house , pig, checken , rice his cow.”
The loss of these items by the brother is enormous because
of what it will take to replace the loss.
Brother Bounds continues with this communication.
“Dear Bro. Milton, ORHUS and other Donors, Attached are several precious pictures of the
plight of the Chin State, Myanmar Flood Victims and John Buai Cung, Faith
International Partner's National Director in Myanmar, delivering bags of rice,
clothing and cooking oil to them. All of these people are under the ministry
and/or Gospel Outreach of our FIP supported Missionary Van Hre Lian and another
Lady Christian Worker Noami in these immediate village areas. There are also
several pictures of John sharing the gospel with some of the Buddhist prospects
to whom he has given flood relief items. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will
convince these Buddhist prospects of the truth of the gospel and will give them
the repentance and faith to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior
through your generous expression of genuine Christian love to them via your
gifts. John's receipts are for
purchases and transportation costs are also attached. With so many roads and
bridges out, a fee must also be charged for hand-carrying these 50 kg (apx. 105
lbs.) sackes of rice, etc. across make-shift temporary bamboo bridges. As
always, 100% of your designation funds are sent for their intended
purposes. Your comments and questions

ORH hopes to send $2000.00 more to help Brother Bounds and
Pastor Cung with the work. The effort to
give the gospel will continue long after the relief work is done.
Dominica – Dave Spangler AIR HOPE
Dave Spangler will be leading an effort to help the people
of Dominica struck by Erica, through several missionaries working in the
Caribbean. Please pray for air safety as
once again ORH puts Air Hope coalition planes in the air carrying relief and
the gospel to hopefully hundreds of people.
Dave is in touch with missionary pilot Mike Coupe who is on
the Island of Dominica.
“I just spoke with
Mike Coupe on his cell - they have been devastated to include losing his
airplane. The airport is destroyed at this time by the river. They have food
and water but are cut off from everything and in a state of emergency. Many
dead bodies to deal with and trying air lift efforts by helo.”
He has also contacted Johnny Daniel’s in Puerto Rico whose
Bible College has pastors on the Island in need. These men can become great resources to help
the whole population of Dominica.
Mission Pilot Calvin George in Puerto Rico has also offered his services
to Dave and AIR HOPE.
ORH has committed $1000.00 for air costs and $1000.00 for
relief supplies. Gospel Baptist Church
in Pensacola, FL is sending an offering to help missionary Mike Coupe.
Dave Spangler hopes to deliver the supplies by the end of
the weekend for the missionary, his church, and community. The delay is the airports on Dominica. Reportedly both have damage, we believe one
may be open, but a long drive for Mike Coupe because of the damage done by the
storm.
