ORH has been silent about the
churches in Hurricane Michael because insurance situations were not
resolved. Victory Baptist in Panama
City, FL, has received an insurance offer.
Pastor Alan Jenkins of Nehemiah’s
Network worked with Victory Baptist in the early days of the hurricane
damage. Along with Nehemiah’s Network,
ORH shipped food and supplies.
Although insurance has now made an
offer, the amount will fall short of actual costs to rebuild at today’s
costs. The difference could easily
exceed $250,000. Please read Pastor
Perrines email to ORH.
Bro. Milton, It was very nice to talk to you
on the phone this evening. Thank you for the work that your ministry does, and
the help already provided to our ministry as well as other ministries.
It is my goal with the Lord's help and
leading to guide Victory Baptist Church through this rebuilding process and
continue to minister to this community.
The Lord brought my family to Victory in 2007 and we have a great church
family that we love and look forward to seeing what the Lord will do.
We have a ministry called Carpenters for
Christ that are hoping to come along side this Ministry in May and help us with
our rebuilding efforts…. Thank you for your time and consideration of our
church.
