Dear Friends, Dr Tom Johnson's VMA Report to ORH Dr. Johnson is one of our beloved missionaries with Baptist World Mission. We thank God for him and his wife, who sacrifice themselves for the people of Cambodia. ORH is blessed to provide him $1000.00 for a VMA clinic conducted. He works on many other clinics; ORH is just thankful to do VMA (Village Medical Assistant) clinics with him. Read his report below. Over the past two years, 9 home churches have begun utilizing the VMA clinic model for medical evangelism.  Each of the home churches are now pastored by a national and self-supported.    Dr. Tom Johnson and His evangelism team check in on these home church periodically and help with discipleship. Today we were able to help 2 single mothers who had recently been laid off due to the quarantine. Our church is excited about reaching out to lost friends, neighbors and relatives through this pandemic. Every member has been tasked with finding candidates for "life boxes". Each bag of food has a Gospel tract and an invitation to church/online meetings. Our church members, who have personal relationships with these people, will try their best to build Kingdom bridges during this time. Many of our people are new believers themselves but have the fundamentals of the faith pretty solid and are excited to be able to learn to evangelize as well as help their neighbor. These two single mothers are friends of our English teacher/translator Inna who recently accepted the Lord as her Savior. She has been hungry to learn God's Word herself and has already helped me, Lori, lead her good friend Marina to the Lord several weeks ago. Thank you for helping to make this possible. This is an exciting time to be a part of the Church of Christ. Ephesians 5:16 seems so apt for this time "Redeeming the time because the days are evil." Praise the Lord for His Goodness to and through His people!! ORH - UKRAINE ENSKYY'S FEEDING STATION

Dear Friends, UKRAINE Oleg and Lori Enskyy wrote to us about their feeding ministry needs.  Operation Renewed Hope has sent $1000.00 to help them feed people.  ORH will continue to send them funds for running their feeding operations.  Please read what they wrote. “    We covet your prayers for wisdom as we minister to people here.  Especially to our children from the feeding ministry.  Their families are very poor and barely get by each month.  Many of their parents cannot work due to the quarantine restrictions….  We are praying about buying in bulk and getting food boxes to them as we can't get "meals" to them daily….We covet your prayers as how to be a light in this very scary and confusing time.      ORH left a lot of gloves and masks when they were here last year.  We kept them, not knowing how we might use them in the future.  Boy have they come in handy.  We have a good supply for our church members and feeding ministry staff.  We also have a lot of Acetaminophen left to give out when/if people get sick….Sincerely, The Enskyys in Ukraine” Again, Oleg and Lori wrote the following: “     COVID-19 outreach in Mukachevo, Ukraine (we are stealing your title: Operation Love Thy Neighbor)  We will be putting together food boxes, tracts and Bibles when appropriate for those in our community who cannot work due to the strict quarantine regulations set by our city.  The only stores allowed to remain open are those that sell food and drugs as well as banks and gas stations.  Everything else is closed.  We are expecting this to last 6-9 weeks. Many of these people live from weekly paycheck to weekly paycheck.  The loss of wages will have a horrible effect on their families.  We will also take these boxes to all of the children who attend the church's feeding ministry.  This will give us an opportunity to go into homes otherwise not available to us and give a tangible, Gospel message.  We will also invite them to our live streaming Friday night Bible study and Sunday Worship Service.  We are excited about how the Lord is going to give hope and comfort to many who do not yet know Him during these trying and uncertain times.  We covet your prayers!“ “     Thank you for praying for us today.  There was plenty of food to be bought at the market. We purchased 1,000 lbs of potatoes and every family we visited received a bag filled with 1 kg of : barley, buckwheat, rice, sugar, cream of wheat, macaroni, cooking oil and apples with a bulk bag of potatoes. We were able to put in Gospel tracts and invitations to our online services each week. Please pray for us this week as we continue to make market runs and visit with hurting people in our community. PERU BLESSINGS

Wednesday, March 14, 2020 Dear Friends, PERU The work after a major clinic effort is never done.  The clinics create converts to follow up, discovered sicknesses to treat, and a major push to start a church or to strengthen an existing church. In Peru, Alex Herrera, Segundo, and Wilbur Sebastian work in the villages where medical clinics have been held.  They work with Buddy Fitzgerald to follow up the spiritual benefits of the medical clinics.  ORH is completely committed to helping them with support so they can give full attention to the work. In the attachment you will see Pastor Wilbur with 3 people from Sepahua, Peru, where ORH conducted the most recent Peruvian clinic.  The lady and the young man standing next to each other were discovered to need further health care.  It is a joy to support Wilbur as he faithfully serves in Sepahua. LIBERIA MEDICAL TEAM JAN 2020

Monday, February 17, 2020 Dear Friends, Liberia January 2020 Medical Clinic Lord Shepherd Hope Foundation in Monrovia, Liberia hosted Operation Renewed Hope into Liberia for a medical clinic.  Pastor Joseph Nunu, president of the foundation along with other board members, worked very hard to make the clinic a success.  Pastor Nunu and his team love their country. The clinic was held in Gbarnga (Bonga) about 2.5 hours away from Monrovia the capitol. The clinic occupied the facilities of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and School.  The pastor, Peter Kollie, was a great blessing as he opened his church to ORH.  Over 1700 patients came to the clinic.  Each day while waiting on pharmacy the people were given the Gospel with over 300 receiving Christ. ORH medical people discovered several who needed greater healthcare help.  David Sunday, Liberian Physician Assistant, board member of LSHF, and director of Omega Clinic in Monrovia helped ORH with those in further need.  He wrote the following.      “The 14 yrs old boy will be discharge from the ELWA  hospital in two days.  He is diagnosed endocarditis myositis….  He needs a weekly visit at the Hospital.  His total hospital bill is 500. USD       The 3 ladies with the fibroid have been assessed by the Doctor they are scheduled for surgeries. The 3 of them have a bill of 1700.00 USD.       The one with the uterine cancer will require complete hysterectomy which will cost 800.00USD.  So far these are the works we have done.  Thanks for helping.  David Sunday Mulbah” We are thankful to God that he has given these opportunities.  Pray ORH will have the funds to help these people. Lebanon Update

Monday, February 17, 2020   Dear Friends, GOSPEL BAPTIST CHURCH, ZAHLE, LEBANON Gospel Baptist Church in Zahle, Lebanon, is pastored by Karim Dahdah.  Zahle is a mountain town very close to the Syrian border.  For several years, ORH has helped the church reach these people. The church by providing fuel oil, medicine, medical help, boots, coats, clothing, and food have brought many into the church.  Some have trusted Christ as a result of this ministry.  In addition to ORH, many other good ministries have helped them.  ORH thanks Dr. Jack Mitchel and his wife for their efforts through their ministry with Gospel Baptist Church. This winter, through your gifts, ORH has sent $3000.00 dollars to help Gospel Baptist Church in its mission.  Pastor Dahdah communicated through Sam Stricklin that they need more to get through the winter.  Pray for ORH, that we will be able to send more funds this winter.      “Jan, I sent you pictures last week showing Syrian refugees receiving aid. CALVARY BAPTIST BIBLE COLLEGE

Tuesday, February 11, 2020 Dear Friends, CALVARY BAPTIST BIBLE COLLEGE PUERTO RICO Operation Renewed Hope spent many hours with the Air Hope Coalition flying food, water, construction materials, and so much more because of Hurricane Maria.  This occurred in 2017 and 2018 in Puerto Rico. Sadly, in 2020, there is work which must be done.  Dr. Johnny Daniels of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle and Calvary Baptist Bible College needs help.  College buildings were damaged and demolished.  The church and Christian day school buildings are repaired, but the Bible college is not ready for students.  The church has housed students off-campus but must bring them back on Campus. The college needs to finish five more dorm structures.  The church has finished two structures for the men, but needs one more for the men, three for the ladies, and one bathroom structure for the ladies.  The college is receiving requests for enrollment, now; even international requests outside of the Caribbean. The college needs $40,000.00.  Each structure averages $8000.00.  If you can help immediately, the church needs at least $15,000.00 by the end of February.  Two building teams are scheduled to come the first of March to finish the women’s bathroom structure.  The college must have building materials with which to work. ANNOUNCING CHILE, UKRAINE, CAMBODIA MEDICAL TEAMS

Thursday, February 6, 2020 Dear Friends, Chile, Ukraine, Cambodia We have just returned from Liberia with a team of 39 people.  It was a fantastic clinic in Gbarnga (Bonga).  More information will be coming in a special update. Currently, we need workers for Chile, May 16; Ukraine July 19; and Cambodia, last two weeks of October.  In Chile we need 7 nurses, 10 non-medical workers. In Ukraine, we need 10 nurses, 15 non-medical workers. In Cambodia, we need 5 nurses, 3 non-medical workers. We also need doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, dentists, optometrists, etc. Chile: working in Patagonia region which is as far south as you can possibly go before the Antarctic.  We will be working with missionary Kyle Sheridan.  There are two main towns, Coyhaique  and Puerto Aysen, with possibility of an Island clinic day.  Ukraine: working in Kharkiv area on the far eastern boarder of Ukraine.  We will be working with missionary Derek Thomas.  The town will be Vilshany, Kharkiv, Ukraine. Cambodia: working with Dr. Tom Johnson veteran missionary.  We will range out of Phnom Penh.
