PHIL HUNT – ZAMBIA COVID
19 FOOD DISTRIBUTION |
|||
Phil sent ORH the following: Good afternoon from Zambia. Just wanted to thank you and share the
update that the funds you sent were distributed equally between the following
men. All of these men are connected to the ministry here either through the
network of churches that have been planted in the past 25yrs or as church
planting alumni of CABU. What an encouragement and blessing this has been to
these men! I am working on getting some feedback from
a few of these men and will forward that on to you soon. Please thank the donors for making this
timely investment. Huge blessing! Phil Philip S. Hunt Philippians 1:20-21 |
TESTIMONIES Dear Brethren, I would like to
express my sincere gratitude for financial help rendered to me. An amount of
1,730 Kwacha was transferred to my account. Whereas the money
will be helpful in taking care of one or two things, the gesture itself is
priceless and a very apt reminder that even in the grind of things there are
some brethren somewhere who think about and pray for me. Ministry with all
its indescribable joys can paradoxically be a lonely place. Thank you once
again for your ministry to me. In Christ, Oduor Obunga, Pastor, Mansa
Central Baptist Church. |

OLEG AND LORI
ENSKYY – COVID 19 MINISTRY |
|||
ORH is very thankful for all the good
things that God does. We know that He
is always guiding us to faithful people in the ministry. Oleg and Lori are exactly the faithful
people to whom He led us. Lori sent
the following to ORH. Dear brother Jan,
Thank you so much for sending us $1000 for our COVID food outreach
ministry. This money will be put to
good use helping those out of work or who have had work hours decreased
because of quarantine. The Lord has
allowed us to enter homes and share the Gospel with those who would have
never let us in before.
We are seeing an increase in visitor attendance at church and openness
to hearing more about spiritual truths because of this ministry. Thank you so much for trusting us to be a
part of ORH in Ukraine. We are
attaching pictures from our Sunday baptismal service. Two of the three new believers were reached
through ORH ministries - children's feeding ministry and ORH medical
outreach.
Many of the people who attended the service were visitors from the
feeding ministry. Praise the Lord for
what He is doing in Ukraine!
We are praying for your many and varied ministries at Friendship and
all over the world! Sincerely, Lori for all the Enskyys in Ukraine |

Matt Stensaas – Uganda
Medical Facility Given New Power |
||
Matt Stensaas sent us this report about the needs
during the Covid 19 event in Uganda.
ORH was able to help the Government through Matt. Now the Hospital can help Covid 19
patients. “The Kilembe Mines Hospital was the best
hospital in this area. In the
beginning of May we had floods that came down the Rwenzori Mountains and
basically washed the hospital away.
What still remained was buried under about 5 feet of sand and
silt. They could not continue there at
that site. They were given a place to
relocate temporarily near Kasese town.
Unfortunately the new place was not connected to 3-phase electricity. Three-phase electricity is needed to run
the x-ray machine, the sterilizing machine for all medical clothing and many
other machines. The hospital needed
$6,000 to connect this electricity.
You all committed to give us $4,000 to give to them. When we made that commitment known to them,
they contacted the electricity company who in turn generously agreed to go
ahead and begin the connection. Last Friday I got a message from the hospital
administrator thanking me again for the money. They were finally connected and had taken
their first x-ray. Because of this
gift, people’s lives will be saved.
Thank you so much. By His
Grace, Matthew Stensaas, Kasese,

PASTOR THANG
– COVID 19 NEEDS FOR MYANMAR |
||
Pastor Neng Thang, Myanmar, was brought to ORH’s attention by a mission
board. ORH is thankful to help this
brother.
“After waiting for the lockdown for a few months, I , along with my son and son-in-law
(medical Doctor, working for Peace Corp) could buy some medical equipments
and transported them to Tonzang Hospital on Tuesday, July 28. We consulted
the Head Doctor as to what equipments are urgently needed and would be more
practical. He requested several items which we could buy with the money in
hands….I am sending you these pictures.…
The 3rd picture is the Head Doctor, the last picture is the OPD
counter….
All the 4 Doctors and over 10 nurses are very excited to receive all
these items. They were very proud of the ORH.
There are many Covid-19 related needs… With many thanks, Brother Thang, GBTCS, Yangon” |

SAM STRICKLIN – COVID 19 FOOD MINISTRY IN BANGLADESH |
||
Brother Stricklin has been a great blessing to ORH. His
ministry efforts have always been exemplary. He left his church where he
pastored many years to reach the Islamic nations for Christ and train
pastors. We are thankful for his compassion for the souls and the physical
needs of men. Through his eyes ORH has been able to see a whole new mission
opportunity in many restricted countries with medicine and relief work. Once
again, he has sent a great report. READ THE
